The Right Workout To Get The Right Build

Posted on 12 November 2008 by

6 pack Workouts are very important for building lean muscle mass, blasting fat, and creating the perfect body.

Working out the right way can help to minimize the potential for injury and keep you on track for your perfect body.

Where you work out can make a big difference too. It is nice to work out at home since you can then do it whenever you have the time to do it. Working out at home does pose the problem of distractions though. There are so many distractions at home that one often has problems finding the drive to workout at home or the time to work out at home. Working out in the gym can keep you focused since there are limited distractions, but it is troublesome because of the travel and the other people who may be on the machine you want. There is no perfect place to workout, so workout where you are most comfortable and can get a full workout each time.

In addition to working out in the right location, working out on the right equipment is important. Working out with free weights has long been considered one of the best ways to achieve great results. The down side of working out with free weights is that it requires a lot of balance and a spotter. The balance is needed to keep the weights moving at the same pace and in a safe manner. The spotter is needed incase the weights get too much and the lifter needs assistance to move the weights to a safe location.

There are many weight machines that have been developed to take away from these problems. These machines help to promote the balance and the spotting by working off a series of pulleys that will remove the weights if they cannot be handled by the lifter. These machines also assist the balance by holding the weights away from the individual and keeping the arms in a line at all times. This can make it possible to lift more weight or for those who have balance problems due to deafness or other problems to lift safely.

Once the right location and weight type is found, the workout itself can begin. It is often considered best to work one half of the body at a time.

For an example, if one is going to work the chest and arms, one may want to not work the legs that day. If one is going to work the legs and lower back, allow the arms to relax. This rotation allows for the continual burning of calories and fats without the excess damage to the muscles. By giving the muscles time to recover, one is aiding in the process of recovery and building.

Many people start off with good intentions but are not really sure what workout is right for what they want to accomplish. This often leaves them frustrated and they then often give up.  To avoid this, it is suggested that you follow a prescribed plan and routine.

The Six Pack Quest program is one such plan that walks you through each stage so that you know exactly what you need to do and when you need to do it.

Your Quest For Six-Pack Abs Begins Here

Posted on 12 July 2008 by

If your not looking to get a six-pack set of abs, then you know someone who is.

It seems as though we all want that washboard look but there are only a few of us who are actually putting forth an effort to achieve it. The rest think that they can take some type of a pill or purchase some useless ab gadget, let it sit in a corner and somehow miraculously get a ripped mid-section.

I’m sorry to burst your bubble, but it just aint gunna happen like that!

Getting a true 6 pack takes having a specific blueprint from a professional and sticking to the recommended workouts. But with so many 6-pack ab programs on the market who do you know to trust?

The first thing that you should look for, is the reputation of the program creator .
Does he/she have credentials?
Have they been accepted into the fitness scene as an expert?
Have they personally taken their body from bland to WOW? or have they always had a good body?
Are they up with the newest information and take and test it?
Are they part of the fitness competition rounds and have a body that can compete?

Now for the six-pack ab program
Is is a complete program with nutrition and health information and not just exercises?
Are there some sample meals or power shakes so that you get to know why types of food you should be eating?
Is it instantly downloadable so that you can start right away or do you have to wait weeks to receive it?
Does the six-pack abs program have videos so that you can watch how the exercises are performed?
Are there MP3 files so that you can listen on the run?
Is there someone who you can contact is you have specific questions?
Does the abs program have both short term and long term goals so that you stay motivated?
Does the exercise program have specific instructions for men and women separately? Yes, men and women need to work out differently.

Well you get the idea. Don’t just whip out your credit card for a program without looking into it first.

As someone who has several fitness blogs and web sites, I was given a copy of a new six-pack ab program called Your Six Pack Quest by Vince Delmonte that will be released in the middle of July.

I was able to spend time researching the author/creator, look at each of the chapters, videos, MP3’s and try out the program to see what I thought of it and if it was something that my readers would get value from.

To make sure that this program would fit many different types of people, I had  both my husband and 21 year old son, look at the contents and see if it would be the type of program that would appeal to all and if they found one part of it more useful than another.

As I had expected, we each found different parts of the program more to our fitness needs and learning types. However we all got involved and were motivated enough to continue on, while others in past let us bored after a few weeks. We also saw results quicker than we thought we would.
